Annual General Meeting

The Peterborough Baseball Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting on November 5th 7:00pm at the Peterborough Lions Community Centre (347 Burnham St.).

 

The purpose of this meeting is to update the membership on the status of the Association and to elect a new executive for 2019. All current members are eligible to attend and vote. 

 

Anyone interested in running for a position is asked to submit their name and position they are running for to secretary@peterboroughbaseball.net The deadline for applications is October 28th 2018. Members may also run from the floor for any position.

 

Elections, where necessary, shall be made by ballot, and a plurality vote shall elect. Elections of each office shall be dealt with by a step-down procedure.  This means that any unsuccessful candidate may run from the floor for another position. 

 

The following positions are up for election:

 

President, VP Operations, VP Business, Treasurer, Tigers Rep, House League Rep, Equipment Officer, Scheduling Officer, Secretary, Sponsorship Rep.
